Heatsink replacement
My Dell 9100 with BTX is experiencing heatsink problems. At times
heatsink make unusual noise. Is this a common problem with dell machines? I
prefer not to buy a new heatsink from Dell. Could someone suggest a place to
purchase aftermarket heatsinks?

I made a previous thread about if the cpu I plan on upgrading would
work with what I wanted. Now I'm confused about the heatsink fan. I'm unsure
about what kind of heatsink I would need. Sorry I'm new to the whole computer

GX240 Heatsink
Hi, I was just wondering, before I make the purchase - is the Optiplex
GX240 Tower Heatsink the same as the desktop heatsink? I bought a standard
heatsink and found Dell have put like a lip on it, so that a standard one wont
fit :(

Too big heatsink
Hello, I bought a new gpu. It's gt 1030 but with heatsink instead of
fan. The heatsink is too big. I can either cut a plastic part of dell 780 dt
heatsink, or the aluminium part of gpu's heatsink, can i even cut those parts?
Should i pick plastic?

Heatsink Problem
Hi I have a inspiron 8200 and I'm trying to take out the heatsink to
replace the thermal grease, but I can't seem to get the heatsink out since it
is clamped into place. I don't know how to release the clamp. could anyone tell
